New Details Emerge In Fatal Stabbing Of Former Penn State Quarterback

Photo by Patrick Smith/Getty Images)New details have emerged in the fatal stabbing of a former Penn State quarterback in Philadelphia late last week.Sean Schellenger, the former PSU quarterback, died at 37 on Thursday night when he was stabbed to death during an altercation with an Uber Eats delivery driver, according to a report by Philly.com.Restauranteur Norris Jordan was in the car with Schellenger before the deadly incident occurred. His lawyer has spoken to Philly.com about what happened.From PennLive.com:“He’s devastated,” Harvey told Philly.com about his client. “Sean was a very good friend of his. It’s a complete tragedy. He’s just really struggling to deal with what happened, as you can imagine.”The account of that evening indicates Jordan was driving Schellenger and another friend through the stop-and-go traffic of Rittenhouse Square when they encountered White, who was delivering food via bicycle.Schellenger got out of the car, walked up to the bicyclist, and an altercation ensued and, according to Harvey’s account, as Schellenger lay bleeding from a stab wound, Jordan came to his aid until the police arrived. Schellenger died a half hour later.The police’s initial account of the story claimed that Jordan had gotten out of the car with Schellenger,  though that is now being refuted.Police are reportedly still investigating the death.Full details can be seen here.last_img read more
