first_imgSt Eunan’s GAA News:The Seniors recorded another good League victory at the weekend, defeating Ardara in O’Donnell Park by 1-08 to 0-09 with Lee McMonagle’s goal proving the decisive score.The Reserves continued their excellent start to the season, winning 3-06 to 1-05, with the goals coming from Jordan O’Dowd (2) and Eddie Blake. Both teams will travel to Kilcar this Sunday in Round 4 of the League, throw in 1.30pm and 3pm.The Junior footballers open their league campaign this Saturday, away to McCumhaill’s at 7pm.The Senior hurlers were defeated by Setanta on Sunday on a scoreline of 0-06 to 1-07 and they travel to Garvaghey this Sunday to take on Knockbridge, throw in 1pm.Well done to our Minor boys footballers who have qualified for the Northern Board League final after two excellent victories in recent days. They won their quarter final against St. Michael’s by 3-13 to 3-04 on Friday last, and their semi final against Glenswilly on Monday evening by 1-14 to 2-05.Minor Hurling training continues every Tuesday at 5pm.The Under 16 boys football team travel to Cloughaneely this Friday while the Development team hosts Termon, both games set for 7pm.The Minor Hurling team travel to Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon this Thursday evening, throw in 7pm.The U-14 hurlers had an excellent win over Buncrana, last week winning by 3-14 to 1-06. They host Letterkenny Gaels in O’Donnell Park this Thursday evening at 7pm. Under 11 boys’ football training continues on Mondays and Thursdays from 5.45pm to 7pm in O’Donnell Park.Congratulations to Aine McGettigan who captained the Donegal Minor Ladies team to victory over Down last weekend and to Naoimi McMenamin and Megan Reid who also fielded in the game. The girls recorded a 2-10 to 1-05 victory in Clonduff.The Minor Footballers recently hosted a hugely successful fitness test fundraiser at Danny Ryan Boxfit, Mountain Top. The team and management would like to thank everyone who came along to support their event and also thank Danny for the use of his excellent facilities.Cash 4 Clothes 4 Féile: Are you doing a spring clean this year? Tidying up that wardrobe and wondering where to put your old clothes? As part of our “4 for Féile” fundraising campaign we are collecting all your old clothes which we hope to turn into cash to help fund our four teams that will compete in this year’s Féile events. The boys and girls U14 Footballers will travel to the south-east (Wexford – Carlow – Wicklow) in late June for the All-Ireland Féile whilst the U14 Hurlers and Camógs will act as hosts for this year’s Ulster Féile. You can drop your black bags of old clothes to O’Donnell Park on Sundays, April 19th, 26th April & May 3rd during the Century Cinemas Sunday Morning Academy.
